[IN PROGRESS] Dream comes from a somewhat wealthy district in Panem - district two. Most years there are teenagers within the district who volunteer to go into the Hunger Games, believing themselves to be lethal and a shoe in to win. This year won't be any different.
Right?
On the other side of the country, an boy from district ten is picked for the fight. George is clever, but his empathy and new surroundings seem like they could lead to a terrible end.
As they're suddenly thrown into the competition, Dream is forced to confront feelings he never thought he could have while also facing the reality of possibly never returning home. Is being dishonest with yourself a fate worse than death?
This story takes place in the hunger games universe, using mcyt as most of the participants. It's also a dreamnotfound type of story, but purely fluff & a take on their characters, as I don't want to make it weird for them & be respectful. Enjoy the story!

Being at the wrong place at the wrong time can end badly. George experiences that, as he gets kidnapped by someone who works for his worst enemy, the royal family. „Yeah, that's why you spat on me earlier." Dream said, reaching for the water bucket. „And I have to wash that out now." „Good luck." „Idiot." „Baby." Dream decided to not answer again and just washed his hair in the way to cold water as good as possible. He knew that it was for him to drink, but knowing the spit of his enemy was sticking in his hair was worse than not having water for a night. „I'm George by the way." „I don't care." angel boy - dreamnotfound
Dream didn't believe a person could be home, and especially didn't believe a person could be so comforting from just their look, but suddenly the whole perspective of his life swapped and he couldn't peel his eyes off the lovely boy. He looked straight out of a romance novel, straight out of a fantasy land. How could someone so pure be real? And even as his smile fell and his lips slightly parted, Dreams eyes only widened. He took one quick peak at the camera before he was pulled away into the building behind them, and for a second, Dream thought George was looking for him- than he remembered that George probably had no idea who the hell he was. And, even more dreadfully remembered, Dream remembered there was only one victor. <><><> this is a "The Hunger Games" AU with mcyts trigger warnings will be included at the beginning of each chapter!! enjoy! :]Complete
