krul tepes, the vampire queen of japan, the third progenitor, recently commited treason against the progenitor council in a desperate attempt to find her brother. she is attacked and turned into a demon by lest karr, who fled the scene soon after.
as she turns into a demon, the shinoa squad find her and mika is... conflicted. he doesn't want the progenitor queen to die. not because of any feelings, but because he knew krul cared about him as much as an emotionless vampire could. he knew about her wish to find her brother. he could relate.
after krul tepes' mysterious disappearance, the progenitor council decided to make lest karr the new leader of japan, and he will exterminate what krul supposedly failed to do.
