Potential is what the guardian calls it. potential to be part of something bigger, something better! But to his dismay the people call it a spark. The sparks that light the flame of hope, it is like what the people of earth call super powers. You gotta wonder where they get it from! They got it from the not so near by very advanced planet of Mordon! They are all friends that haven't visited in several (Dozen) years But Violet and her friends don't know any of that. Because Violet, Eric, Mira, Sera, And Fab Live in a place kind of like a human orphanage. But it is only for the ones with great potential. And their parents are still alive. basically they can leave them there until they spark and are completely trained so they don't have to deal with them. But most of the kids feel very neglected and don't end up going back to there parents but Violet is different she loves her mother more than anything and all the wants is a home and family and to know who her mother is.

I have restarted this book. I wanted to make it easier to read and more enjoyable. I hope to make shorter chapters and update frequently. :) In the beginning Sylar has no name. No one cares. She's just another kid to fall into a system because she was an unwanted mess. A child that doesn't talk? Yea, no one care about that either. A shady group home filled with bullies and secrets? Yea, you guessed NO ONE CARES! To find friends in a place like this is unlikely. This place is built to feed off the fears of kids and their lack of parental role models. No one holds on to dreams for long in a place like this. You get placed here and you are as good as forgotten. Except when a couple shows up looking as out of place as an astronaut in a gold mine or a miner in space whichever one you prefer. This couple comes and shakes things up.
