Fever Dream (AsaNoya short story)

The way the ball feels against his forearms, the smack it makes when it hits the floor, the squeak of volleyball shoes in a volleyball court, Nishinoya Yuu loves it all. But one day, after fainting on the court, he is taken away from all of that with a high fever that restricts him to his bed.

He misses the ball. He misses it dearly. But maybe some good could come out of this situation, when the person taking care of him is none other than his teammate Asahi Azumane, who he just so happened to catch feelings for in his first year.

Will this inconvenient opportunity go to waste?
