From Superhero to Cinderella

Marinette Dupain-Cheng's life is turned upside down when her father decides to marry the divorced Audrey Bourgeois. She becomes step-sister to Chloe Bourgeois, who hates her. Not only that, but ever since she was akumatized as Queen Wasp, Chloe has a new best friend, Lila Rossi. Together, Lila and Chloe find every way possible to make Marinette's life miserable. Then, the unthinkable happens: Marinette's father is killed. Marinette feels her life crumble around her and feels distant from most of her friends. The only one who she feels is always there for her is Luka Couffaine. She is drawn towards him and can't help but feel that he could be more than a friend. But at the same time, she is also drawn towards her long-time partner, Cat Noir. He has put up a wall between them, and with the change in the way he acts around her as Ladybug, Marinette begins to realize just how much he means to her, and how much she misses the side he no longer shows. On top of everything else, Marinette is in her final year of high school and the school winter dance is approaching. Who does Marinette decide to go to the dance with? Will she and Cat Noir ever find out each other's identities?

A/N: This fanfiction is going to be a long one, so if you want to read it, just know it won't be short. Also, this fanfiction picks up from where season 3 left off, but with a few slight changes. So if you haven't watched season 3 yet, I suggest you do that before reading this, otherwise some things may be spoiled and not everything will make complete sense. And, for those of you who may be wondering, this fanfiction is a CLEAN romance. I have no idea what the update schedule will be because I am a full-time student at college, but I'll try to update as often as possible.
