When the 5th archangel, Selaphiel, first fell out of heaven her job was to bring peace to the east lands by controlling new mystic forces. Vampires and witches had already been around for a couple hundred years, but there was a new mystic force looming around causing havoc. These were the werewolves, or more like werewolf because there was only one. The first one, Lycaon. Selaphiel easily tracked the wolf down and contained the beast, by making it half human and half wolf. Selaphiel made the perfect creation with equal parts strength, agility and speed. She helped Lycaon become the perfect warrior and a loyal leader, what she didn't plan on was falling in love with Lycaon. Their love created the first mate bond, that every werewolf descending shall have. Gabriel, the second archangel, saw what pure power his sister created and was jealous of her success. In secret, Gabriel summond as much power as her could and killed Selaphiel. Upon her death the first werewolf, Lycan, was sent into a despair so deep no words could describe. Their love was everlasting and died too soon. This then created the eternal lovers, a bond stronger than no other. The eternal lovers are Selaphiel and Lycaon reincarnated time after time destined to find each other. Different versions of themselves meet again and again, but their time is always cut short by Gabriel hell bent on keeping them apart.

I closed my eyes ready for my death when I heard a very loud and dangerous growl, I swear I felt the ground under me shook by it.
