Seven years later, Katsuki was working as a lifeguard on the same beach in Hawaii where they had met the first time around. Izuku quit dreaming of becoming a pro hero after three times of being denied. He decided to screw it, and just be normal. He has part time jobs, he recently graduated, he has a car, a nice apartment. And the support from his mom. That is all he needs. What he doesn't need is his childhood bully showing up in his Pro Hero costume outside his door. Or outside the window to his jobs. Or anywhere near him to be honest. But Izuku can't catch a break as Bakugo keeps asking him to become a hero. "Come on. You can become a hero." Bakugo said moving to stand in front of Izuku. "No, bitch. Now move over so I can clean up this spot. Also, fuck you." Izuku retorted with a broom in his hand This is kind of like crack treated seriously. Midoriya Izuku was ambitious. He always pushed until he fell. He never gave up, not once did he fall and stay down. Not even when his idol told him that his dream was illogical--that in reality he will only get in the way. So he made a set of recordings and set up an anonymous channel. He approached many people and asked them variants of the same question: "Can a quirkless person become a hero?" No matter the answer though, he was broken inside. His dreams and hopes were shattered a long time ago. But he isn't ready to take a swan dive just yet. He wants to meet one person who will tell him that he is not useless. That he can be a hero. And after that moment, he will decide if he's ready to take a swan dive off the roof of a building or not. Some of the chapters will be quite triggering. I will put a warning beside each chapter title that includes detailed descriptions of triggering topics. The characters do not belong to me, only the plot.
