Everyone thinks that nothing will happen to their family, it will just be a normal family like any other.
The brother would be really into sports or gaming, sister would be into make up or be a tom boy and maybe play sports with the brother, mother would work hard but still come home to make a delicious home cooked meal, finally father would always be working but still find time to spend it with his family.
You see terrible things happen to other families, their child has been kidnaped or someone got murdered or even be put into jail, you look at the screen for two seconds then go back to whatever you were doing not sparing it one more glance, thinking that it will never happen to your family.
But the truth is that you don't know. Anything could happen just ask 12 year old Robert, his little 8 year old sister Jess and 12 year old Serenity. How one day can change your life forever.

(I am about to undergo major edits on the entire story soon. I wrote this when I was 13, and since it is my first story, I owe it the proper creation it deserves. Thank you for your patience, and I hope you will enjoy!) Samantha, Sam, Peers - a 13 year old girl who grew up with an abusive father who hits her every time she talked or laughed. So him and his family take Sam in to show her that she doesn't have to hide her voice or lock herself away from the world. And with the help of his wife and four sons they just might get her to open up to them.
