Throne of Thorns

For the past century, what's left of humanity has hidden behind a giant wall. Surrounded by enemy, the once great kingdom of Tamerlane is trapped in fear of the wild, viscous, shadow like forms known as the Blatari. Little is known about where they came from or why they are bent on consuming humankind.

When atttacked by a powerful unknown force- Amara, a forsaken orphaned child, said to be born without the gift of relicus. A gift that allows the minority of humanity manipulate the four elements of the earth- reveals a dormant unique ability that saves her life and the people around her. A power that might just bring an end to the century long war.

Wrenched from everything she knows, Amara and her best friend Livia, are whisked away to the Kings royal court to be trained to wield this wild mysterious power.

However, nothing is what it seems to be in this lavishing world. Amara must find a way to protect the ones she love and a secret that endangers them. But when rebellion and ancient history threatens to drown Tamerlane entirely , they realize that the Blatari may not be the cause of their extinction .
