This power is actually a curse, a punishment for her father's violation of a forbidden rule in their kingdom, which resulted in her mother's death. One day, her father decides to move to the Philippines, where she can start a new life, attend a new school, and live in a new environment. It is there that she meets a young man who will change her life. However, she is unaware that her love for a mortal will cause conflict for all involved. In order to break the curse, she must make a difficult and painful decision between saving her father's life or choosing the person she loves. This decision proves to be the most challenging and heart-wrenching one she has ever faced.
