She was a foster child and kept getting adopted and taken back. She was getting severely bullied by three boys none other then Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, and Calum Hood. One day Alexis got adopted, but couldn't take it, the bulling, self harm, and her "parents", so she left for America. She thinks everything is great, until one night. Grace Hemmings has gone through a lot in seventeen years. She was bullied for being in an orphanage for sixteen years, but when she finally got her own apartment, things got worse. She didn't have the nicest clothes because she had to focus on paying her rent. She never ate much because of the amount of money she made. When someone shows up to her school and informs her that she has family nearby, her life is changed forever. (Note- this book is only 12 chapters long plus an epilogue, but it still took a lot of time to write it. I put a lot of hard work into the characters and the plot, so please don't skip this book just because it's short.)
