Playing With Fire (Charlie Weasley X Reader) by TheLemonSheriff
27 parts Complete
Charlie X Reader, 'Playing With Fire' Book 1 (Series Completed) *** "Uh, yeah. I stopped going to classes a while back. Believe it or not, that's not good for the GPA. I had, like, a 26 average or something," I said like it wasn't a big deal. "Damn, that's not great," he admitted. He rounded the corner into Percy's room. I could hear Percy fighting with the twins in their room. "Why'd you do that?" he asked teasingly. "My dad died," I answered honestly. "Oh, shit. I'm sorry," he said and his face dropped. "It's alright," I dismissed. "Seriously, stop looking at me like that." "I can't help it," he said. "You're making it worse. You look like a wounded puppy," I whined. "Don't be like everyone else. I'm sick of people treating me differently because of this whole thing. Treat me normally." "You mean, like flirt with you a little bit?" "Well, I, uh," I stuttered. He grinned at me. "You're blushing." *** Seventh-year Y/N Y/L/N is what the professors would call a prime example of wasted potential, with an impressively bad 26% average. As far as she's concerned, she is past academic redemption. However, Dumbledore and McGonagall decide to introduce a new opportunity for struggling students, a scholarship that covers a trip abroad. Y/N is desperately in need of this scholarship if she wants to graduate from Hogwarts, but she is struggling through more than anyone knows. The only thing that is keeping her going is the family she's found with the Weasleys. They're an odd bunch and that's exactly why she fits in. Because she doesn't. Things are simple with the Weasley family. That is until she crosses a line with one of the Weasley boys, a path that can never be retraced. Y/N finds herself trapped in a web of lies that she had created. One spark and everything she has worked for could be gone in an instant. And she's playing with fire. This story contains mature content. Trigger warnings are included at the beginning of chapters. I hope you enjoy!
Shrek The Third: The Would Be King & I [Book 3] by TashaFarthing
25 parts Complete
~Sequel to Shrek 2: Happily 'N'Ever After [Book 2]~ Uncle Connor: Now remember: No nagging, bragging, sweating, fretting, slipping, tripping, slurping, burping, twittering, or frittering allowed. Me: What if I fall gracefully? Zero: That's literally the same thing as slipping and tripping, minus the graceful part. Me: Really? Aunt Ella: Yes. Me: So...I can get away with falling gracefully, then? Alice: No...not unless you're doing it on purpose to catch someone's attention~ As you can tell, that's how my lessons on learning to be a proper Princess usually start. Strict lessons on manners, learning the history of the past royals, which cutlery you have to use with certain meals, etc. etc. Blah, blah, blah. And the worst lesson of them all: Ballroom dancing! On top of that, I'm constantly reminded that I need to find my 'true love' and receive true love's kiss by sunset on my 17th birthday, otherwise I turn into a frozen statue just like my parents, grandmother, and kingdom, and stay like that forever. When Shrek asked me to go with him to visit Worcestershire Academy and find Arthur Pendragon, the one uncle Harold mentioned before he took his final breath, you could imagine the relief I felt to finally have the opportunity to escape my lessons without someone dragging me back every time I tried to ditch them. Question is: Will I be able to break the spell before the deadline? What if Arthur is 'the one'? Will I finally get the happy ending everybody keeps teasing me about? Completed: 25/03/2021 ✔️ Shrek: Once Upon A True Love's Kiss [Book 1] ✔️ Shrek 2: Happily 'N' Ever After [Book 2] ✔️ Shrek The Third: The Would Be King & I [Book 3] ✔️ **Disclaimer: I own absolutely nothing, with the exception of Willow, Alice, and Zero, and this fanfic.
