Iris was the youngest daughter of duke Hirlend. At her 7th birthday she slipped and hit her head while looking around in the garden. So on the monthly trip to the temple Iris (Rin), prayed with all her heart, (hoping someone would hear) to live I different life in a different body, one where she could be free. The goddess of fate heard the pitiful child's cry, and brought her soul into that of a. . . Fairy?
