So before we start this is 100% going to have
Blood
Death
Mentions of injury
and cussing
it mAy have
Angst and ships but its a may.
So in this AU everybody has some sort of power and a power source!
Dream's mask gives him strength but he loses a bit of sanity. After he stops he gets weakness
George's glasses (he has to be wearing them on his eyes) let's him see some of the future but it's limited. After he's done he has a headache. Pain depends on how long he goes into the future
Sapnap's headband gives him speed 2 but he can't control how long it is. After 2 minutes he gets slowness 2.
Bad's hood gives him flight but he can't go that fast. After he's done he can only jump a slab.
So the 4 are just playing a casual manhunt with no powers as Dream stated in the rules. Though while Dream was winning again and George, being a dummy, used his powers! Then well... You'll read the rest!

Y/N and the Dream Team had already been friends for quite some time now and they talked often. Recording videos and streaming together was what they did best, and they all enjoyed it. One day, Y/N had found a fan-made plug-in for Minecraft. They thought it would be cool to try, so they brought it up to Dream, George, and Sapnap, in hopes that they could try it out for a video. They were ready to load up the server and all had their headsets on, speaking to each other through discord chat. Each of them joined within the same minute and were faced with an unexpected outcome. All four of their minds had been virtually transported into their favorite game: Minecraft. This wouldn't be easy for them to escape from though. Not in the slightest. Their quest was to not only beat the game by defeating the Ender Dragon, but to also acquire something along the way. Tommy and Tubbo were sick and tired of hearing non stop about the disappearances. The two brothers wanted them to be found just so people would shut up about it, that was until scientists finally figured out what happened and how to get them out. each of the missing streamers were stuck in the world, their bodies now part of the game. The only way for them to get out was to either beat the game or find some sort of loop hole, their only problem? Dream had destroyed the end portals that were within 1000's of blocks a month before the disappearances and if they died? Game. Over. Scientists developed a new VR like device, they only made 3. With those 3 they needed volunteers but nobody seemed to want to risk it. Tommy decieded to do it for fun and drag Tubbo with him. Can Tommy and Tubbo and one other help Dream and everybody else escape the SMP? Or will somebody else on the inside stop them from beating the game and kill them. George, Dream, and Sapnap find themselves trapped in Minecraft. They get to work speedrunning as safely as possible, but unforeseen obstacles get in their way over and over. As things get slowly worse and worse, they can either accept the new reality and cope, or survive in denial. ____ This is not related to "Free the Game, Beat the End" despite the similar name. It wasn't an influence bc I haven't read it. This is entirely separate and mine, please don't compare them. ____ This took a year to write, starting in December 2020 (so it's dated.) Just keep in mind that it's before the first fall of L'Manberg, around the first Tales of the SMP, after Roadtrip came up but before Mask, before any of them met up irl besides George and Wilbur. ____ TW // blood, slight gore, claustrophobia, implied vomiting I probably should rate it mature, but it's up to you to read or not. What was meant to be an easy quest in a woodland mansion goes wrong and the encounter with its magical inhabitants leaves Dream cursed so that anyone who sees his face will instantly fall in love with him. Now it's up to George to save his best friend before the curse turns deadly. Can he break the curse without his own feelings getting in the way? A realistic medieval minecraft au that I haven't really thought out too well. This is mostly about exploring the relationship between Dream and George because I think they have a very beautiful friendship. Originally posted and completed on ao3 because I didn't have a cover for wattpad. The plan was for me to draw a cool cover because I like to think I'm a pretty good artist, but I'm also lazy so here's a stock photo I put text over. Chapters will most likely be released daily, depending on how fast I can adjust the formatting for wattpad. ======================== A note about shipping: This is a story about the online personas/characters portrayed Minecraft Youtubers Dream and Georgenotfound, not their real-life counterparts. Dream struggles to fight off Nightmare who is taking over him, making him hurt those he loves and kill. At first he convinces himself he's being destructive and evil for George, so that George will never be in danger and could do what he wants but it is soon made clear Dream is not the one making the decisions over his own actions. Set as if Minecraft was real with canon lives. Occasional Sapnap POV and George POV. A lot of dialogue for the first chapters was taken from several streams but after that it is made up including the story. Songs are incorporated but don't need to be listened to, to read. I don't generally write so it may not be the best story but I hope you enjoy all the same! :)

Eventually, Dream has had enough of George being uncomfortable because of the sexual jokes and decides to knock some sense into Sapnap. The fight gets heated and Dream throws a punch at Sapnap, but misses. George being the goody two shoes he is, hesitates, this would surely ruin his perfect reputation but it was his life on the line. The brunette reluctantly agrees feeling helpless against the mass murderer front of him. Soon the two become comfortable around each other, and George realizes that the more time they spend with each other, the more he wants his new roommate to stay with him. Unfortunately, George's closest friend becomes jealous, and after realizing that the culprit might be staying longer, he rats out Dream's location, leaving nothing but George and his shattered fragile soul... "No don't take him! He isn't the bad guy here! Please wait!" George shouted as he was forcefully held back by security. The short brunette watched as the love of his life was slowly being taken away from him. Eventually George was all alone, the happiness had been drained from his heart.
