In the wake of the Dendä slaughter and the subsequent rule of those who brought an end to the regime of the Dendä, the darkest of times have fallen. Brother against brother in a quest for a nameless treasure, cold-blooded killings in the streets, and the endless pursuit of some fantasy hoard. While a black-veiled woman takes up the sword and tasks herself with the undoing of this new rule, Thane struggles with a reason to endure. Even in this new world, bought by blood, the same question always remains: duty, or love?

"There are two kinds of men, the conqueror and the conquest, those who eat and those who get eaten. Which kind of men are you?" . . . [Yandere Generals x Female General Reader] After a seven-year stalemate, Ilidoro the king of Luccia sent a letter to the country of Estain to the north renowned for their military prowess, begging for them to help him put an end to the stalemate and win the war. They did send aid, but not what was expected. A ruthless general by the name of Denlleonis. Y/N Denlleonis was given the task of whipping the Luccian army into shape. There was just one problem, Y/N was a woman. In Estain, women were encouraged to have martial pursuits, but the same was not true in Luccia. Will Y/N be able to lead the Luccian army to victory when the whole army, including the resident generals, think that the battlefield is no place for a woman? Of course, she will!! It was the other generals that you should be worried about. In her quest to make the army and its generals ready for war, Y/N turned the generals into vicious beasts hungering for nothing but blood. However violent and unhinged the four warlords became, there were nothing compared to the brutal and bloodthirsty woman who had become the object of their deepest desire; Esedict General Y/N Denlleonis of Estain. ⚠WARNING⚠ there will be a few mature themes in the book including (but not limited to): -warfare -barbarity -nudity -sexual references -extreme violence -mental illness -politics -murder -manipulation -obsession -gore Reader discretion is advised. ~J. In a world ruled by the sword, where kings and lords are self proclaimed almost on a monthly basis, treachery and violence runs amok. Magickers are by turns either very blessed or very cursed, in either case they would be the pet of some self proclaimed king, or perhaps said king is their pet and they would be living it grand in some tall tower somewhere or perhaps afeared as the crazy hermit who lives in the middle of a swamp. The law of the land: the strong rule, and the weak are trampled and used. Lidel Coine is a tavern wench at the Silver Nymph Tavern in the township of Tagar's Crossing. Life is routine for her, work the floor during dinner time, satisfy customers at night and do it all over again the next day. But not today. Today things break, blood splatters the walls, people die. Lidel wishes she died too this day, because after this day, she wakes up and realizes she has lost that which is most important to her. She is destined to save the world, but all she wants is to destroy everything to get back what she lost. Work in progress. Title subject to change.
