If you ask someone to describe Izuku Midoriya, they'll probably tell you that he's a sweet boy. Someone with a big heart, a cute stuttering problem, and personality as bright as his smile. All of which would be totally correct.
If not for the fact that it was fake.
What everybody doesn't know is that their cute little ray of sunshine was taken by villains at the tender age of 10. For the past 4 years he has been living a hell on Earth. Now, Izuku is finally back under the assumption that he has been traveling abroad with his dad, but their delightful Midoriya has more problems than you can imagine.
Forced to pretend to be that same useless Deku in order to avoid questioning, Midoriya is more determined than ever to become a hero. But that doesn't mean it will be easy. With a quirk that has drawn a target on his back for the League of Villains, he will need to stay under the radar if he wants to continue seeing the light of day.
Well, that and try not to fall into the black pit that has become his mind.
