Set one year after the main trilogy, Bartimaeus is summoned once again in Bruges by a person he knows quite well. Here they tend to closure upon what happened one year earlier.- Just a short story, that popped into my head upon rereading the trilogy for a third time.

1/3 So it starts when Regulus is in fifth year (15-year-old) and James is in sixth year (16-year-old). The dates might not be accurate but just go with it. After a horrible relationship, Regulus was found crying in the hall and James found him. James comforted him and then they went back to James' room. And that's how it starts. Some pregnancy scares and pregnancy at the end of the story. (just to have some drama for the next generation).
