Amorite would not describe her life as easy despite the outward appearance. As the kings niece she was born with the title of a royal Duchess. However she has neve felt close to anyone at the castle except for her cousin Emilio. Her whole life she has known that she was just a political pawn for the king. She always expected that she would have an arranged marriage, but when she learns that she is going to marry the Fae King, the ruler of her peoples greatest enemy, she worries she cant put her hared of the Fae aside in order to play the part she needs to. The beautiful, unassuming, foreign princess. The kind of lady no one would expect to secretly feed information back to her homeland. The inspiration for this story was a dark and twisted reimagining of Thumbelina.
