Gianna D'Angelo has been through more than the average seventeen year old.
The result of this is an angry, bitter and passionately blunt teenager, who's impenetrable walls are risked by no one. When Gianna's father finally decides he's had enough of her, he ships her off to a prestigious boarding academy, none too sad to see the back of her.
Beck Hudson is down-to-earth, calm, and the complete opposite of Gianna. His mysterious ways make him immensely popular with most of the female population, all apart from Gianna.
Gianna and Beck are two entirely different people; but, somehow, from the moment he first sees her, Beck sees something in Gianna that very few other people can see.
Can Beck show Gianna that life is isn't always a disaster, or is she just too perfectly jaded?
