Wall Crossers is a transreal autobiographical novel inspired by true events, blending lived experience, emotional truth, and the mysteries that sometimes resist ordinary explanation. While serving with the U.S. Army in Cold War Berlin, twenty-year-old Olivia experiences a life-altering encounter that leads to profound love, devastating loss, unanswered questions, and a hidden family she does not discover until decades later. But Olivia is not the only keeper of this story. A granddaughter she never knew existed has been quietly piecing together a hidden family history-one that carries the truth of what had been taken, concealed, and carried forward beyond Olivia's knowledge. Set against the backdrop of a divided Berlin and spanning more than fifty years, *Wall Crossers* traces the entangled lives and loves of seven women through war, separation, memory, sacrifice, identity, and the unseen currents that shape lives across generations. The novel contains mature themes involving relationships, trauma, war, and brief scenes of sexuality and violence.

"I don't care that she's transgender. I'm completely fine with that. I accept her 100%." I smiled, the tears moving from fat drops to a river-like rush. The sun caught in my eyes and blurred my vision. That was okay because all I could see was Maddie. "She's a girl, period... and she's breathtakingly gorgeous," I whispered. Written by #ownvoices non-binary author Riley Rian, "I Love You Just the Way You Are," is about a transgender girl and her love interest. It's a story written from the heart of someone who wishes they would have had this when they were a teenager. @rileyrianbooks on Instagram. @riley_rian_books on TikTok.
