When Charlie wakes up in a world that's not her own, surrounded by people who by all accounts should be fictional, she's at a complete loss for how she got there in the first place. Charlie journeys to find her own destiny while struggling to help the Avatar complete his.
Or, a quick-witted teen with red hair and freckles gets thrown into the Avatar universe and is somehow expected to fit in. Obviously, she kind of fails. With her knowledge of the TV show, she pretends to be psychic to aiding her in helping the Gaang - now she just needs to keep up her lie.
