Skurdulka the Cryptid (a nonbinary scary story)
My best friend is an idiot crushing on a jerk. Instead of eating peanut butter cups at his house on Halloween, I'm throwing rocks at Skurdulka's house. That's how it started. I actually lay eyes on a shapeshifting cryptid and I'm not going to live to tell about it. Great. If I can get Skurdulka to let me leave (alive), I'll have a story to tell. Maybe the cryptid's not so bad. We might even have some things in common; no one gets what the f#ck we are and we're both sick of people.Complete
Blue
In a world where shifters reside, the amount of scales that covered your body determined your position in life. There were many colors of scales and in differing shades too, but black meant royalty. Royal blue scales laced Tallulah's body in unusual yet beautiful patterns of symmetry. Her coverage was unnatural for her position, but her beauty was also a shame she was forced to carry since birth; she was the bastard offspring of their lord. Tallulah was born to a realm where preference was never an option for her class. She was forced into marriage to a man who would rather hurt her than nurture her or allow her to escape her predetermined destiny or to seek out her own, but the world had other plans for Tallulah. Amidst her new life and understanding who she is becoming, Atlas, Crown prince of their land, comes into her life, knocking upside down her entire existence. Running from her past she ran straight into her future, for she was the mate of Atlas and she was scared.Complete
Skurdulka's House (a LGBTQ chosen-family thriller)
The kids that nobody wants? We go to Skurdulka's House. The cryptid might now be "Ari"--and basically my goddamn helicopter parent--but they're still a cryptid. And if local bigots, school principles, psycho parents, or dickhead bullies mess with us? Yeah, the kind and quiet Ari isn't afraid to bring out the fang-baring Skurdulka again.Complete
Identity theft
In a dystopian future where Earth lies in ruins after the Great War, the descendants of survivors possess unique powers born from decades of radiation exposure. These abilities, drawn from atom manipulation, fall into four categories: elemental powers, flight, telekinesis, and the rarest of all-shapeshifting. While shapeshifters are revered, their abilities come with severe limitations: fleeting transformations and permanent physical traits that endure across forms. To escape the grinding poverty of their world, people are drawn into a televised competition where they perform for a shot at a better life. The crown jewel of these games is the shapeshifter, whose transformations are evaluated for government recruitment. Austin, however, is no ordinary shapeshifter. He can hold his forms for days without the usual physical limitations - but this extraordinary power comes with a dark cost. After a traumatic brain injury, Austin lost his memories, and with the complete loss of his sense of self, the ability to become anyone was discovered. Struggling with a fractured identity, he's faced with a painful choice: survive by stealing the identity of others, or try to uncover the truth of who he was before the accident. **Updating more often for the 8 Chapter Challenge through Wattpad!**

Elarayne - What Am I?
The legends tell of mystical creatures with unnatural powers. They can change into any form to hunt their prey. The humans call them 'shapeshifters'. It is told that they're humans practising the forbidden arts of magic using the blood of every being in the world. Nobody has seen them for centuries but the legend remains. In every legend you find truth. In this world the humans have created themselves an empire. The kings and lords rule over their land. The peasants live their poor life and the priests pray to god. But in this empire there is war. Bloody war for more land to rule over. My name is Elena Dregones. I live in this world of war, death, pain and hunger. Life hasn't been very kind to me. When I was young I lost my memory after an accident. I remember nothing from my early life. I don't have a family. The only person I can trust is my best friend Alexander Senogerd. We live together in a broken hut. We haven't got any money. We're lower than the peasants. We're nothing.Complete
