Charlie has always drifted, never staying in one place for too long lest he get too attached. For thousands of years, he's meandered through life as a vampire, looking for something and running away from something. When the strange creatures from his past begin reappearing, Charlie is the only one who has the knowledge and power to stop them. And now that his past is finally catching up with him, it seems fitting that the love he's been unintentionally been searching for ends up finding him as well, yes? And with a demon, nonetheless.
