Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. Roman, Patton, and Logan all live on the streets, no parents, no money, no jobs, they're just a couple of street kids that have no future, but they at least have each other, the closest thing to family they will ever achieve. Janus, Remus, and Virgil also live on the streets together. Same position and same future. All they have in the small misfit family they created together. One day these two groups of boys meet and find maybe they might have a future after all. Everyone knows that once upon a time Virgil Sanders was a Dark Side of Thomas's personality, he was once known to be Paranoia but he never felt like he belonged anywhere and on either side. Though today he is considered to be a hybrid now; he is a balance of both, he is light and he is dark but thankfully he is no longer an enemy of Thomas or the other Light Sides. Still haunted by his mysterious past Virgil has to keep secrets in order to protect Thomas and the others, hopefully, to never reveal the pain he once endured but the arrival of two dark sides; Janus and Remus causes Virgil to become very wary. Not sure whether to see them as a threat or what they are planning has Virgil on edge. Soon he notices that Thomas is starting to fall closer into darkness and is slowly beginning to weaken and infect his new family. Knowing what will happen if Thomas is completely corrupted, Virgil knows he has to stop whatever is causing this infection even if he must pay the ultimate price.
