Olivier never shifted, and rather than staying in a place where she would never see freedom, she ran away to live in the human world. During her time away from the supernatural world and it's' politics, a new threat emerged that disrupted her peaceful human life and she found herself caught in the crosshairs. To top it all off, the person responsible for getting her involved in the whole mess is the stoic alpha of a neighboring pack that seems reluctant to let her return to her peaceful human life from before.

Growing up reading Wattpad stories as a girl, I really wanted to see a realistic female lead who is emotionally strong and doesn't denounce feminine qualities or things to prove or symbolize strength. I wanted to see various female characters who felt real, instead of 'love interest #2' or 'petty bully #1' so all of my female characters contain depth and possess intricate backstories. In a way this story is my love letter to all women, because your strength and character inspires me <3
This is a romance, fantasy, adventure story in that order. I tried to make the characters as real and organic as possible. This means that there is no immediate romantic connection because both parties need to build mutual trust before jumping into a relationship irl (there will be saucy scenes once romance is in full swing tho don't worry).
UNDER RECONSTRUCTION: only read the chapters with (edited) at the end of the title, I am taking the story in a slightly different direction, so any chapters after the (edited) ones are from the old story and likely will not align with the current plot. THANKS FOR READING!!
