The plan goes smoothly at first, but Pete almost dies of boredom as soon as he arrives, so it's only a matter of time before he becomes entranced by the only interesting form of entertainment: the town reverend's seventeen-year-old virgin son, Patrick. After high school, eighteen-year-old Patrick took up residence in the apartment above his parent's book store; the same bookstore he worked at. Angsty and tired of Chicago, he only agreed to work at the dull place to gather enough money to attend an out-of-state university. He craved excitement and something to save him from the bland life he lived. When strange killings occur around the city Patrick comes face to face with a vampire but this wasn't exactly the kind of excitement he had wished for. Note: Some parts of this story, such as the characters, are based on the 'A Little Less Sixteen Candles' video, but I put my own spin on the whole concept of the vampires and other certain details because I wanted to.
