The feeling of uneasiness appeared when they were yet in the Stronghold, but noone didn't pay too much attention to it. There were no reasons to actually feel so nervous about killing the Ender Dragon, right? 
Only after Tubbo and Tommy jumped into the End Portal, just one appeared on the other side.
