Thunder erupted overhead, creating flashes of light that revealed the hundreds of thousands of shapes that stumbled, lumbered and limped towards a running silhouette. Their moans and screams were all meshed together, harmonising with the roaring storm above their heads. They flooded the land, like a tidal wave of black bobbing heads and writhing arms, all after the sprinting human.
