When he thought things couldn't get worse, his father returns home, quickly taking his mothers side in abusing and tormenting their son. They force their rules on Midoriya, attempting to perfect the Omega before deciding more drastic measures were necessary. Before UA started, both Todoroki and Bakugou meet and discover they are mates, deciding to keep it a secret until the 'Traditional UA Soulmate Party' which occurred on new years eve. The pair feel a sense of being incomplete, realizing they had a third mate. Todoroki and Bakugou soon discover Midoriya is about to do something fatal, but they managed to get him to a hospital just in time. But the doctors couldn't heal the broken Omega, who was constantly plagued by the monsters he called parents, who stop at nothing to bend the Omega into what they want him to be.
