George knew that there would be complications from the procedure, but he never saw this coming. George never walked away from the brain surgery... but Anne and Lucien did. Anne is good incarnate; she sees the best in everyone and there is no one she wouldn't try to help. She can be selfless to the point of self destruction.
Lucien is not. He is a cancer and he full well knows it. Rejected by his parents, and declared dead to his life he must try to move on, to survive. But life never leaves you alone for too long.
It is a race against time for Lucien and Anne to save each other before they both self destruct.
