Daphne came to CA to study. What she least expected was to meet Cameron Boyce. Find out about their love story and the troubles as an inter-racial and religious couple.
"Do you love me?" I asked.
"What do you think, sweetheart?"
I stared into those soft hazel eyes of his, the eyes that got me so attracted to him, and I got lost in thought.
I wonder what he thinks. Does he really love me? Maybe he's still not over his ex-girlfriend. Maybe I am not good enough for him.
I was dragged back into reality when he pressed his forehead against mine. He whispered slowly, "Daphne. Stop over thinking. It's not healthy. I love you and always will. I swear my life on it."
He took both my hands in his and fiddled around with the charm bracelet on my left wrist he got for me; his eyes were begging for approval. Perhaps it was time to let go of my fears, to dive in deep.
"I trust you. And I love you too."
His warm lips pressed against mine as I smiled into the kiss. I closed my eyes and just let go.
