Two of these Miraculous are more powerful than the others; the earrings of the Ladybug, which provide the power of creation; and the ring of the Black Cat, which grants the power of destruction. Somewhere in Japan, a mysterious figure named Charonda emerged from the shadows and obtained the Miraculous of the Butterfly. He made a threat to turn the people of Japan into villains unless he received the Miraculous of the Ladybug and Black Cat. Two retired French superheroes entrusted two teenagers, one of whom is a girl named Ochaco Uraraka, whose dream was to make money for her parents to live normal lives, with the most powerful jewels in the world upon hearing the activation of one of the lost Miraculous.
