Some people said that Y/n L/n was the most kindest woman you'd ever met. Some people said for that for everything that happened to her, she deserved a break. "Just don't back her into a corner. That never ended well." If you asked Y/n L/n herself, she would have told you that life just is what it is, and that you have to take everything in stride. She would have told you that you don't get to choose the hand you're dealt, that you just have to make the most of it. Imagine her surprise when got a trump card, and one day the universe finally decided that it was done tormenting her. She thought it was too good to be true, but soon found out that the card was permanently added to her hand. "I didn't think it'd be possible-to be this happy," She said. "For a moment I thought that maybe...I didn't deserve happiness." She paused. "But now, I think it's safe to say I earned it." *This story WILL NOT correlate to the series at all. After years of people seeing Lena Luthor look like anybody but herself, she had finally met the person who saw her for well... her. She'd been complemented on red hair, brown eyes, tan skin, or the many tattoos inked into her. Her hair is a raven color, an eye as green as a forest and one as blue as a lake, very pale skin, and not a single tattoo. All it took was one interview to turn her life around. 18 years on earth, Kara Danvers has stayed to herself. Mesmerized by the new language, she becomes a reporter. She'd never been confident enough to complement people on how they look. She'd done it when she first arrived on the planet. She ended up pointing out something the older women was insecure about. She quickly learned that not everyone loves complements as specific as the one she gave. So she'd only give simple generic complements. *** A simple interview can change a lot. What will happen when Lena helps Kara rebuild her confidence that was lost along with her home planet. And how will she react to the complements Kara will finally gather enough courage to give? And of course we can't forget Alex and Sams endless attempts to set the two up. *** ⚠️Slow updates⚠️
