Born in a small village, Ayesha had always been happy. She didn't have wavy hazel-brown hair like Brianna, curly ear-length hair like Bloise, or Aliya's straight black hair, fading to deep ocean blue at the end, all the way to her wrist. Instead, she had feathers as hair. Pure and white feathers, as if straight from an angel's wings always stuck out of her head, no matter how many times she tried to cut it, especially as a child, it never worked. The feathers are surprisingly soft, and from a distance away, you can't even tell it's not actual hair, simply because it flows down like a waterfall, just like normal hair. Despise her flaws, the villagers loved her, although they treat her like a baby that still needs help walking at times, they were always kind towards her, always accepting her, as if she was their very own family. She was happy, for years, but there's always been something missing, and slowly, she got bored of this small village, the exact same people every single day. It's time for her to go.

Deep in the breathtaking forests of California, there's a school unlike any other-a hidden haven for six teenagers from all corners of the globe. Life here isn't perfect, but it's simple... until it isn't. They laugh, they argue, they grow-bonded by late nights, inside jokes, and the magic of their differences. In this strange, beautiful mix of cultures and identities, growing up feels a little less lonely. But then something changed. Something cracked the core of their tight-knit circle- A fight? A betrayal? Or something else entirely? Now, with trust shaken and the future unclear, the question lingers: Can they find their way back to each other? "We're different. But that doesn't mean we have to shrink ourselves to fit what society expects." - MacKenzie Gauthier
