Everyone was talking about their new years resolutions, planning parties, and excitedly getting ready for the new year. Except for me. I wouldn't make it to New Years, I was sure of it. After living like this for so long, I was ready to go. December 29th. It was snowing, freezing cold, everyone busy speeding down the highway, except for me. The brown haired girl wearing nothing but a pair of torn jeans, a white dress, red jacket, and ratty old converse standing at the top of the bridge, preparing to jump off. A short story about an agoraphobic woman living alone on a small farm property. It follows her descent into hopelessness at her situation, as well as the increasing tension with her twin, who has been taking care of her. This is very amateur, and I don't usually do creative writing, so I apologize for any messiness or beginner mistakes.
