You've been on the run from your abusive (?) family for four years now. you're 14. You wanted to become a trainer, and someday, a master, but your parents never cared. they always favorited your brother. your parents never cared about your dream.
You started out in the Kanto region, and your starter was Charmaner, who has now evolved into Charizard after these four years. Your Charizard is the only friend you could trust, for so long. You haven't been able to trust any "friends" you've met because you're afraid they'll just leave you, like your parents did. You weren't always like this. this, cold, distant, and depressed.

Ash has just lost in the Indigo League, due to his Charizard's disobedience. As he and Pikachu are thinking things over by a lake, they are sure in for a nasty surprise. Betrayal. That's what, out of all possible scenarios, Ash never imagined that his own friends and family would betray and even try and kill him. Now though, Ash must rise above this and prove the traitors wrong, starting with redemption. He heads over to the Orange Islands for sanctuary and to start a new journey, a new start was just what he needed, with new friends, new Pokemon, and mysteries surrounding the Pokemon world. But at the end of it all, the true adventure has only just begun... Warning: Foul Language, minor Adult topics, mentions of blood and gore. Not recommended for young children. Our Promise, Our Future
After winning the Kalos League and keeping their promise, Ash and Serena continue their journey together. From new regions, to new Pokemon, to new battles and new experiences. Whatever lies ahead, they don't know, but they will face it together. This is a sequel to my Our Promise one-shot (which you can read if you'd like for some extra exposition but it's not required). I kept looking over it and I saw more potential in it, but instead of going back to that story, I decided to keep it a one-shot and make the sequel a multi-chapter story. I don't know how many chapters I'll write, but I'll try to make it long enough to be considered a good read. I do know that I don't have an uploading schedule, so new chapters will most likely appear at random. I hope you'll all enjoy my first attempt at a multi-chapter Pokemon story. Fair warning though. Before Sonic and his friends ever appeared in the human world due to Chaos Control, G.U.N. - or Guardian Units of Nations - had already created a life form that surpassed even the likes of the "Project: Shadow" Nobody could have guessed that they, without the brilliant mind of the fabled Dr. Gerald Robotnik, that they could have made such a valuable military asset. "Project: Genesis," designated as Unit-02 due to him being the second coming of the "Ultimate Life Form," was an attempt at making a truly loyal weapon that would win any conflict with just the flick of the wrist. Using the DNA of Shadow the Hedgehog and harnessing the Chaos Energy within his blood, they created a clone, a superior entity wielding abilities to rival that of a god. He was beautiful- perfect even, and yet there was a flaw in his design. For all his power, his purpose for his existence remained firmly out of his grasp, and his "creators" didn't bother helping. Even with the lingering words of Ambertwo... "You're alive, and life is wonderful." Her final words echoed like a never ending mantra in his mind filled with so many different thoughts and questions. When Unit-02 woke up in the real world after being fully developed, the ones who created him never expected for their creation to rebel against them so... quickly. Fire and ruin was brought down upon them as a psychic force greater than any other destroyed the facility as quickly at the Ultimate Life Form's awakening. In the aftermath of the carnage, within the flaming wreckage of divine wrath, a man approached 02 with an offer- to master his power and conquer the world. Yet, this brought no satisfaction to him as he learned to master this seemingly chaotic, this uncontrollable power. He rebelled against this man, too, and came to the realization that humans, not matter who they were, couldn't be trusted, and retreated into the nature and never to be seen again.
The Next World Monarch
10 years have passed since Ash Ketchum became the World Monarch. There have been many challengers that have tried to take his title, but none have been successful. There doesn't seem to be any trainers who are strong enough to defeat him. Jaydin Silver, a 12 year old boy from the Johto Region, hasn't had the best life. Beaten, neglected and bitter, he believes he is useless to the world. The only thing he finds comfort in is watching his idol, World Monarch Ash Ketchum, and gives him hope that he can be as strong as him someday. Jaydin decides to leave his old life behind and begins his own journey to eventually become strong enough to face his idol and achieve his dream of becoming the next World Monarch. This is an original story that I've been brainstorming for a while. It will have dark elements in it but will still have many wholesome moments as well. I don't have an upload schedule so chapters will probably come out at random. The book cover art is mine and it looks SICK!! This story doesn't take place in the Our Promise and Our Promise, Our Future universe, so just keep that in mind. Well, I hope you all enjoy!
