Never in his entire life would Ash has ever thought that his 'friends' would lose faith in him. Not Misty. Not Brock. Not May nor Clemont. And definitely not Pikachu.
Yet they did. They told him that he wasn't good enough. Not enough to be a trainer. Not good enough to win a league. Not good enough to achieve his dreams. Yet what's worse is that Ash almost believed them.
Almost.
With support from his true friends and two self-proclaimed 'sisters', he chose to continue to pursue his dream.
After a chance encounter with an Eevee and meeting a new friend, Ash set out to Alola on a new journey to prove his so called 'friends' wrong.
And what's this about Pokémon going berserk all over Alola?

Basically, a typical betrayal story...without a betrayal, so to speak. Basically, Ash's pals think it is time to try something new. His Kalos league run got everyone so excited, only for Ash to lose. They started to wonder if a Master is the right way for him to go. Disappointed that his friends lost their faith, Ash sets of to Alola, hoping to clear his mind. When a brand new League is announced to be opened, Ash takes a chance on this opportunity to finally become a Champion, putting him one step closer to Master. This is going to be separate from canon, with some similarities. This is not going to have Ash catching a bunch of Legendarys, or using the whole ''Aura" thing, It's just good old Ash, on a good old adventure. I will include Meloetta, since it's my personal favorite Mythical Pokemon, and Ash will catch Poipole / Naganadel. I dont think I will include Melmetal in Ash's team, for a reason you'll see further in. But Meloetta wont be caught, it's kind of just along for the ride. :) Team Rocket, our loveable trio of dorks, is still a loveable trio of dorks, they just, aren't part of Rocket anymore. They are now members of Team Cook. Yep, they're cooks now. And maybe also a guest appearance from a fan favorite Ninja Amphibian? Anyways, this is my first story with a main ship, too: Aureliashipping.(Ash x Lillie) It wont be the main focus, but I will include a few moments to hopefully please the crowd. That's about it. Hope you enjoy!

Ash Ketchum, with Pikachu and the rest of his Kalos team (except for Goodra & Greninja), return home to Pallet Town, where his former travelling companions and rivals are already waiting for him. Ash has just lost in the Indigo League, due to his Charizard's disobedience. As he and Pikachu are thinking things over by a lake, they are sure in for a nasty surprise. Betrayal. That's what, out of all possible scenarios, Ash never imagined that his own friends and family would betray and even try and kill him. Now though, Ash must rise above this and prove the traitors wrong, starting with redemption. He heads over to the Orange Islands for sanctuary and to start a new journey, a new start was just what he needed, with new friends, new Pokemon, and mysteries surrounding the Pokemon world. But at the end of it all, the true adventure has only just begun... Warning: Foul Language, minor Adult topics, mentions of blood and gore. Not recommended for young children.
