A series of events lands Zara Winter in the mystical world of Zoldea, a world which is falling apart by the second. Overtaken by the Antis, the entire country suffers as destruction sweeps the land. Along with her brother Zayn, Zara is one of the last two guardians of the realm - the only person who holds the key to defeating the Antis. She must now join a rebel army called the Zodiac to retrieve an ancient jewel with the power to destroy the Antis and bring the country's peace back.
