A series of poems that follow a couple torn between love and duty, inspired by the Within Temptation song of the same name. Told in letter form between the two lovers, this series will explore the lives of a man and woman amidst the most devastating war in their country's history. Magic, romance, and struggle are central to my biggest literary undertaking so far. Ok, pretentious intros aside, I was really inspired by this song, and this story just popped into mu head.
