She only has 5 friends she's ever trusted Adeline Corman, Joe Heck, Margie Trinket, Jack Johnson, and Jack Gilinsky. Other than them she's trusted no one. Nick Anders is a 16-year-old from Chicago that moved to L.A. when his parents got divorced. His dad is the Chicago Cubs coach and his mom is a woman from Washington. Nick didn't like the idea of moving at first until he bumped (literally) into Carter. Carter wanted to have a friend that was her friend, not a fan of her money.
