An aspiring career surrounds more than what Charlie intended. During her highschool years, Charlie nearly finished her first book before moving to a new school, a work of study closer to her dream college. It told of a local teacher murdering many residents unnoticed, until a fellow student grew wary of his intentions. Sadly, she is stuck on deciding how the story should end. At her new school, however, a familiar face becomes part of her everyday life. Her teacher, Mr. Trevor, strikes multiple similarities to the killer in her book, too many to be considered a coincidence. This knowledge doesn't work well for Charlie, her new friend growing suspicious at her strange behavior towards him. Through a game of cat and mouse, Charlie ends up being "the one who got away," living long enough to publish her newly revised book. With her book selling millions over the globe, Mr Trevor returns to halt her escape from the past. Will Charlie escape a second time and reveal what's behind the mask of the beloved Mr. Trevor?
