Nineteen year old waitress Leigh Carter was in a relationship with a young man she never thought she would end up with. She wants everyone to know but he wanted it to be surreptitious; so they did.

Leigh knew he was right but deep down she didn't want to believe it. She wanted everyone to know that she was with him. She wanted everyone to know who she was. To know that she wasn't just a waitress. That she was capable of being with someone like him.
