What if Patton and Janus had a split just like Roman and Remus? Set in Thomas's college years, find out what causes the split and what changes it brings for Thomas and the sides. This is before Thomas knows Roman, Logan, Janus, or Virgil's names. The readers don't know them either. Remus has his name in there because I assume he told everyone right away like in DWIT. Potential trigger warnings: depression, thoughts of suicide (if there are others, they'll be at the top of the chapter) (If you found this book because of the Oneshot, welcome!) Enjoy! Cat ♥️

Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy. But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Self Harm Suicidal Thoughts Self Deprecation Talking of food and weight Unknowing Anorexia Unsympathetic Virgil for awhile but he gets better Unsympathetic Roman for awhile but he also gets better. etc.. Characters belong to Thomas Sanders
