Dmitri Caxias, trapped in the past from which he could not escape, attempted to live his life as peacefully as possible after escaping from Stanovoy Mental Facility. But one night, he awoke from a nightmare that continues to haunt him, realizing that a serial killing was taking place in the city.

When he came across certain circumstances, such as witnessing a man being murdered under the bridge, he reflected on how blind justice was; allowing a man to die in a brutal manner without even imprisoning the perpetrator.

Dmitri ran away as if nothing had happened. He did not see anything, and he did not kill anyone that day--or so he convinced himself.
