If you have ever watched ben 10 not the reboot but the original series then heres the description by the end of s2 i think
So you know how ben unlocked master control at Niagara falls well lets say ben never took off the omnitrix while he was at the null void instead ben managed to get gwen back but since it costed them alot of time Kevin and vilgax were on their tales ben transformed into fourarms and threw gwen into the closing portal then before ben could make it the portal closed leaving ben in the null void with vilgax and kevin but he managed to fight them off and escape

set 4 years after Gwen 10 classic. since the ending of Gwen 10 classic gwen has taken off the omnitrix, and has returned to a normal life. However when her grandpa max finds himself caught up in an alien conspiracy, she takes initiative and puts the omnitrix back on. Now recalibrated the omnitrix allows Gwen to change into 10 aliens, this new batch being ones she's never been able to use regularly before. However she's not alone as she has two teammates working along side her. Her cousin, ben tennyson, has been a hero ever since they took on vilgax when they where 10. Equipped with a mask from the future, a hoverboard from his crystalline friend, the proto-tool he took from MT rushmore way back in the day and the mana he inherited from his grandma, he's a force to be reckoned with, but in his 5 years being a hero he hasn't lost his sense of fun or adventure. Along side the two is former foe turned friend, Kevin level. Able to absorb any material into his body to create a coating of armor around his body, this bad boy has a tech savvy mind and a past he's constantly on the run from. The trio work together to try and find grandpa max, and take down the Highbreed threat.
The Omni Needless
After the Omni force event, the new Bens have been sent off to their new universes. This Ben has been sent to a new world, this one having suffered a massive WWIII. But from this loss a unique blessing was bestowed upon the people. In japan where an epicenter of a mass bomb occurred called the Black Spot, numerous people living there had gained unique abilities called Fractions. However a resistance had fallen and as the Hero Ben is, he was more than willing to partake in this battle. And also... to become a new sibling to a boy who lost his sister... and also a boyfriend to a metal shapeshifter who for some reason consumes a vile tasting energy drink.
