It could just be me - but no - I'm sure,
It might be important for me to know,
But why me, as humans go,
I'm mediocre.
Just mediocre.
So why trust me, if it is important?
Or maybe it's me making it something it's not.
But a feeling I get when I'm awake-
Well, it will never be forgot.
However, as I said before,
this something is quite obscure,
And what makes it different from a dream I used to know,
Is that when it ends
I'm left with little than an array of yellow squares
The squares which haunt my life.
I think something wants my attention.

The blood had already leaked down my forehead, but I kept my eyes on Shane and tried to blink quickly to clear my vision. "Hang on, please. Please hang on." He pleaded, holding my body up to a sitting position. I couldn't even remember what had struck me and I was getting nervous by Shane's worried face. "I'm... it hurts." I mumbled. "I'm so sorry." He held me closer. This time tears started to form in his dark green eyes but I could tell Shane didn't want to cry in front of me. My head started to feel more dizzy and I had to give in and close my eyes, much to Shane's dismay and his protests. I probably should've just listened to him from the start when he said don't go outside in this weather, but me being pissy with him and wanting to prove a point- I did and now I'm laying on the wet grass with a gash on my temple and an even bigger one on my leg. "We'll get you to Harvey." Shane said. I could hear his voice break at the end. He picked me up and started walking. "Please wake up." I wanted to so badly but I was exhausted from the hike and spending the night in the cold and shivering for hours. Shane's warm hands under my back and legs already felt way better. "This is all my fault. The one good thing to happen in my life...." Shane let out a sob but never stopped walking. I just wanted to hug him and tell him everything was going to be alright. I could feel the blood still tripping down my leg and face, so I knew I couldn't make false promises but Shane needed me. He needs me. I'm his anchor, I'm the girl he leans on when he's feeling like he's losing. I have to do this. it practically happened overnight, one night I'm in my bed when I wake up my eyes are covered in an unusual mass and I heard unusual voices. suddenly I felt something pick me up and say: "calm down, for us you're in a high honer position." Humanity's way of life has somehow changed overnight. What was once 7.5 billion people on earth with just 6 off of the surface of the Earth is now practically all on ships orbiting the Earth. Brought there by an unusual race with seemingly good intentions. As for Nathan, like many children of his metal status and age from the looks of things; ends up placed in the care of someone on the ship and, what would be lucky for their kind, in the care of the commander of the ship he's on. But he's willing to trust something that knows his every like and dislike despite his kind nature. Will be driven mad as he tries to figure out what happened to his family, will he give in, or will that be the key to find out.Complete

What he wouldn't give to be back home again, just recording with his friends and having fun in the streams they do together or have patches curl up against his side. He would prefer almost anything over the situation he's in right now. One wrong move and his life would be over. He hates it here. He just wants to go home. Please.' ---- Hey! I did something similar to this for a German story I published like two years ago, so I figured, why not do it in English too? So here goes nothing! This will be a long one! Also, I already want to apologize for not writing the characters 'realistic' enough at some points. I mainly watch Philza and Techno, so everyone else is a bit... unknown to me? Like of course I watch Tommy Videos or Dream Manhunt and all that, but that's about it.
