In the Year of the Golden Dragon Immaculous, The kingdom of Bradyn named their sixth heir. 
The townspeople were happy, the royals, however, weren't. In this kingdom, where the rules and conditions of gaining the throne meant death, has had always shaken other kingdoms down to their spine. Ridiculous as it may be, that's how the strongest by immeasurable physical power, the extreme strategizer, the  ultimate backstabber, or the dangerously honest has had gained the throne in the past,
Zinnia Shaffer, who was born in a very unstable family, was chosen to be the sixth in the running for the throne. the family was thankful for the money, but not at the stake of their beloved daughter's life.
Zinnia, through many encounters, learns the fact that she had no other choice but to give her life because she was no match to the five other heirs, who were rumored to be all fit for the throne, yet, lacking in small minor ways.
She meets all the other princes and princesses and finds out something weird about them.
they didn't hold up to the rumors. The stories didn't match.
But then, it did.
Will she be able to survive and make it out alive? What is going to happen?
