**This story is highly based on The Run series by Lynne Stahl!** It's really...really not easy trying to live day to day in a zombie apocalypse. Being in rural Georgia might get you some perks, but you're never safe, especially from hordes. Mac and Dennis find themselves having to navigate a world overrun with flesh devouring people infected with a highly contagious virus. It's not easy or clean, but with the right amount of hands, life gets easier, and a lot more manageable. However, not every hand is welcoming. Take it or don't, that's up to you.

We all were hiding in random places, apparently any place we could find. There were a ton of zombies, the whole place was full of them. Many people from our group were lost to the virus. Muffled voices, blurred vision and heavy breathes were heard. The ship which everyone had longed for soon arrived. The plan was to run to the ship and never look back. The ferry was anchored at the harbor and on the signal, everyone ran for their precious lives, not daring to look back. Some people couldn't make it in 'The End' . The ones who survived were the last of us. Will the people make it in time? What hardships will they encounter along the way?
