"A Mandalorian. If isn't my lucky day." I said as I let my head fall back into the mud. I felt a hand grab my thigh, and I used my other leg to kick the chest plate, earning no more than an annoyed sigh as the hand picked my vibroblade from its holster. "Please don't lose that, I'll need it back to defend myself when I'm out of these extremely uncomfortable cuffs."

"No need," a distorted male voice said from below the bucket. "You won't be out of those for a while." He reached around to tuck away my blade, and I noticed a blinking bounty puck.

"A bounty hunter? Really? Am I really worth that much to someone?" The Mandalorian grabbed my upper arm and pulled me to my feet.

"Apparently."

She'd lived through all of it, all because she'd ignored and hidden one of the most important things about her. The war was over, the Rebellion had won, the Empire was gone. So why was she still struggling to find where she fit in the mix of it? She was a Jedi. Where did a Jedi fit into a galaxy that hadn't seen one for nearly thirty years? Din Djarin must defend the child against dark Force wielders who would gladly take the little one off his hands. He will have to decide whether to trust some new allies, for the safety of the child. Note: This was written before season 2 of The Mandalorian came out. I wanted to throw together some characters from different Star Wars series and see how they'd interact. Turns out, a couple of them did end up meeting. In this story, they get to go on a whole adventure. They learn some things about each other and about themselves along the way, which is often painful, but could create bonds of trust if that's what they choose. Getting into these characters' heads and exploring the Force and the galaxy far far away have been an amazing ride. I finished this story on May the 4th, 2020. Then later, my friends urged me to polish it up and put it out there. So here it is for anyone who would enjoy it! It's not meant to replace anything that's going on in the show (which has been amazing so far, by the way). It's just an exploration and speculation on these characters and their universe. This is a fanfiction. The universe, most of the characters, and most of the locales belong to Star Wars. If you search a character or planet on Wookieepedia and it comes up with nothing, chances are I made them up (because I checked, too, before I gave them names). However, they were sometimes partly inspired by existing characters or planets in Star Wars. My use of the mando'a language was inspired by its use in Karen Traviss's Republic Commando novels (which I highly recommend if you want to learn some things about Mandalorian culture . . . And they're good stories.)
