Live, they say. The words were repeated so many times it appeared as if she could drown in them. Survival meant everything. Those words were as if it was an excuse to kill twenty-three other people in an arena as if life meant more than anything. Aviva volunteers in place of her sister, leaving everything behind she finds herself becoming someone she isn't. Sponsors, seducing men, and even becoming a killer. She becomes everything the Capitol wants her to be, a deadly machine. However, she finds herself at odds as she comes across different individuals, questioning herself and her attempts for survival she becomes uncertain if she can kill someone she has feelings for.
